The story / Ottawa, 1990s
A band suspended
in time. Not erased.
Born in the rooms that made Ottawa loud, THERMOclinE fused heavy guitars, restless rhythms, and lyrics that left the nerve exposed.
The band grew inside a fiercely independent scene—one shaped by Zaphod Beeblebrox, Barrymore’s, The Pit, and the belief that a song could still change the temperature of a room.
With Steve Gardiner now on vocals, THERMOclinE carries that original intensity forward—connecting the band’s Ottawa roots to its current sound.
The recordings went quiet for more than two decades. The signal didn’t. Negative ONE arrived in 2024, followed by Static Satellite in 2025: the past brought forward with all its voltage intact.
Twenty years down. Still loud.
